POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning, preparation and conducting Pricing and Reimbursement dossier submissions to secure, maintain and expand market access across the BMS portfolio according to the company’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, preparation and conducting Pricing and Reimbursement dossier submissions to secure, maintain and expand market access across the BMS portfolio according to the company’s strategy.
  • Plans, implements and coordinates local HEOR projects relating to health economics, epidemiology and quality of care in close alignment with the local market access, medical and commercial functions.
  • Provides input into local HEOR initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring that these studies are optimally designed and implemented.
  • Identifies data needs and outlines appropriate research methods for local adaptation of the global strategy.
  • Collaborates effectively with outside researchers and local business units in managing HEOR projects.
  • Represents local market on European and global Health Outcomes working group, helping develop the value proposition, HTA dossier and research strategies to differentiate the products.
  • Increases the internal awareness and understanding of HEOR deliverables and its local relevance.
  • Manage and advise on all aspects of pricing and pricing approval.
  • Provides any pharmacoeconomic arguments which supports negotiation with the MoH.
  • Understanding of the complex relationships, processes, laws, issues and history that define and govern the political/legislative governmental institutions at the central and local levels. Top-line understanding of health economics and pricing principles.
  • Follows all healthcare system reforms and regulations regarding pricing and reimbursement.
  • Actively participates in the pricing and reimbursement working group at the Polish pharma trade association.

Experience & Knowledge Desired:

  • Relevant education, e.g. an academic degree (medical, science, economics)
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience working on outcomes research, health economics or market access issues in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous responsibility for coordinating local P&R submissions.
  • Experience in preparation of HTA dossiers
  • Experience in preparation and coordination pricing business cases
  • Understanding of healthcare systems and policies including Reimbursement Act and general pricing and local HTA agency requirements
  • General understanding of statistical methods and tests
  • Experience in analysing complex issues, utilizing strategic thinking and implementation tactical plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a diverse, global environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with self-motivation under tight timelines.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English
