Position Summary
The Hub Financial Center Trainer will deliver the accounting and service training curriculum to HUB employees on a variety of processes relating to HUB International. This position will be reporting to the HFC Training Supervisor and working closely with the senior manager and training coordinator. The Trainer is responsible for delivering a positive and enriching experience to current and future associates to successfully perform their respective job functions. The role requires a team member that is an encouraging representation of the company’s core values and purpose. They are proactive and eager to continuously enhance the learning environment. Utilizing good communication and problem-solving skills, the HFC Trainer will develop associates to become knowledgeable, courteous, skilled, and efficient team members prior to joining their assigned teams
Responsibilities
Facilitate training program for new and existing members of the Hub Financial Center on workflows and processes
Conduct training follow-ups and refreshers with assigned team members
Communicate and retain feedback as defined by curriculum, and make recommendations for training improvements
Maintain trainee progress tracker to communicate strengths and opportunities to the leadership team
Collaborate with all HFC accounting teams on understanding department responsibilities and instructional training needs
Deliver training on immediate updates as assigned by the supervisor or coordinator
Subject matter expert in HFC policies and procedures
Create professional and welcoming communications with all team members and leadership
Additional projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Strongly preferred 2+ years with a proven track record of delivering successful training programs
Ability to balance multiple priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
A well-established understanding of accounting, financial concepts and controls
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal and engagement skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Insurance brokerage experience preferred but not required
Strong experience in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and PowerPoint
Must understand the need for flexibility in working schedule to meet deadlines and support a team
The expected salary range for this position is $23 to $30 per hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
