Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens, in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.
Since 2006, the University of Luxembourg has invested in its own High-Performance Computing (HPC) facilities. Special focus was laid on developing large computing power combined with huge data storage capacity to accelerate the research performed in intensive computing and large-scale data analytics (Big Data).
To face the growing needs and new projects of the University of Luxembourg, the Digital Platforms team has been created to install, extend, operate and administrate the HPC platform, composed of 2 HPC clusters, Iris and Aion. To reinforce this team on the Belval campus, the UL is looking for highly qualified individuals to play a key role in the administration and support of the HPC facilities. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with new and advanced technologies and experimental systems.
Further information can be found on hpc.uni.lu.
