    Stowe Australia is looking to engage the services of a High Voltage Electrical Technician with experience in maintaining, testing, and servicing of High Voltage equipment. You will need to demonstrate a strong background in the maintaining and testing of High Voltage equipment, dealing largely with a Blue-Chip client base.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands on approach to HV Maintenance (Preventative & Reactive)
  • Testing and Commissioning of Power systems would be a preference.
  • HV Operating or HV Cable Termination skill will provide a strong advantage.
  • Developing of job specific JSA’s and SWMS
  • Planning, reporting and effective communication skills.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of High Voltage testing
  • Have experience in High Voltage switching
  • Experience in the maintenance of transformers, switchboards, ring main units, circuit breakers, substation/industrial control systems and power factor correction equipment.
  • A self-motivated approach with an ability to work unsupervised.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Contributes to achieve desired outcomes and a positive work cultur
