Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Cardiac Physiologist with expert knowledge in cardiac rhythm management to join our team.

The department offers a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations. Investigations include physiologist-led exercise testing, Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring . We provide a 24-hour primary PCI service alongside complex PCI and interventional techniques. TAVI service. We operate a busy Pacemaker and ICD implant and follow up service to include the use of remote monitoring. EPS + complex ablation and mapping procedures. We also carry out Physiology led clinics. The department is a teaching Hospital and is actively involved in research. We are also participating in a number of clinical research trials. Working in collaboration with the Head of Implantable Devices, this post will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of the remote monitoring service, this will incorporate audit and service evaluation. Implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, accuracy and efficiency of remote monitoring services, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.
Collaboration with Cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias and implanted cardiac devices.
Performing device programming and optimisation (including implant support) for patients with ILR,PPM, ICD’s and CRT devices.
