Description:

Fixed term for 11 months due to funding. Provide specialist advice, training, consultation, and formal supervision, toother professionals, who work with children, young people, and theirfamilies/carers with moderate, complex, and severe mental health problems.Role model nursing excellence as an expert practitioner, providing a highstandard of direct care to patients and professional advice and support to the clinical team.Contribute regularly to the relevant duty rota, to accept referrals and provide consultation to practitioners who are carrying out emergency and urgent assessments.Contribute to the development of innovative and flexible approaches todelivering accessible and responsive mental health services.Offer and provide spaces for staff reflection on working with children and their families, including providing individual or group supervision and consultation as appropriate.Responsible for implementing a range of CAMHS interventions for individual children and young people, carers, families, and groups, within and across teams and employed individually and in synthesis, adjusting and refining psychological formulations.Exercise autonomous judgement and take full professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients and formulate effective care plans in collaboration with the client and family.Use a broad theoretical knowledge base and highly specialist clinical skills(EMDR) to develop and support the therapeutic skills of others (AssistantPsychologists, trainees and other junior CAMHS Practitioners and members of other staff groups) via the development and delivery of teaching, presentation, training, supervision, support, and consultation
