Description:
PREVIOUS CANDIDATES NEED NOT APPLY.
We are looking to appoint a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist at Band 7 level to join our echo team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy department striving to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. We are a BSE accredited department since 2015 and perform approximately 11,000 transthoracic echoes per year. We are based within the hub of the Royal Berkshire Hospital (Reading) and deliver clinics at West Berkshire Community Hospital (Newbury). We are a close-knit team well supported by the Consultant Cardiologists who are active in supporting the echo service and exploring novel ways of working to optimise service delivery.
Applicants would be expected to have full BSE transthoracic accreditation (or EACVI equivalent) and have some managerial experience to help drive delivery of the echo service on a daily basis.
