Description:

Are you an experienced Clinical Psychologist looking for a change of direction in your clinical work?
Are looking to be part of Trust that prioritises their staff wellbeing and are you passionate about being involved in this?
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Wellbeing team who are based at London House in Bracknell.
You will work as part of a team of practitioner psychologists supporting teams and individuals across the Trust. In this post you will be developing and providing the latest evidence - based specialist psychological wellbeing support within Berkshire Healthcare. This is an autonomous post however and you will need to manage your own diary to coincide with the needs of the teams you are supporting. You will assess the needs of both individuals and teams , and then deliver both individual and team interventions, including wellbeing support hubs, staff support post incident sessions, and team support processes.
This role will involve travel between sites but also leaves room for home working and virtual support. You would be expected to attend meetings at London house at least twice per month.
We are big on staff development and provide a number of internal and external training opportunities. We are keen to train staff in developing evidence based techniques using different psychological models.
We operate 9:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday and are open to both full and part time applicants.
To support the development and delivery of the Specialist Psychological Staff Support Service
Provide advice on assessment; formulation and interventions for psychological staff support to managers seeking advice from the Specialist Psychological Staff Support team
As an experienced mental health practitioner, you will direct and supervise junior staff and resources within their area of responsibility and take an active participation in clinical quality assurance and learning programmes
To communicate specialised, complex and sensitive information and advice to staff members and other professionals, including information about challenging team dynamics or staff psychological wellbeing needs. To provide advice to other members of the service and agencies on their particular needs

Responsibilities:

Doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology
HCPC registration
Previous experience working as a Clinical Psychologist (at least 2 years post-qualification)
A passion for staff support
Full UK driving license and access to vehicle
