Responsibilities:

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Werribee Mercy Hospital has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated Health Information Services Clerks. This role will provide guidance and support in the collection, use, and management of Health Information. Our HIS Clerks act as a key support to Werribee Mercy Hospital to ensure timely access to scanned patient information.

  • Multiple roles- full time and/or part time considered. May also include weekend shift.
  • Scanning of patient information to ensure timely availability for patient care.
  • Preparing of paper documents relating to patient care.
  • Answering calls and responding to requests for patient information.
  • Participation in quality assurance activities to ensure integrity of the scanned medical record.
