Job Summary: The HIS/Medical Records Clerk position files, locates, logs, retrieves, scans, processes and delivers medical records as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: High school graduate and completion of Health Information Technology or Medical Office program or equivalent courses in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology and/or related experience. Associate’s degree in a medical-related discipline or two years of experience working with health or related information preferred. Experience with information systems and working with an EMR.
