    As the Holiday Act Compliance Officer you will be responsible for maintaining a compliant payroll system to ensure correct payments are being made to employees. Your primary purpose is to provide assurance over changes made to the configuration of our systems in terms of the Holidays Act, Tax and any other legislative requirements.
    Your excellent communications skills will support you as you continually provide oversight, and support to the Payroll, wider HR teams and managers to ensure ongoing compliance. You will be seen as the subject matter expert in this field and provide sound advice resulting from any change.

NGA PŪKENGA MOTUHAKE | IMPORTANT SKILLS

  • Sound understanding of all current pieces of legislation relating to payroll, including but not limited to, Holidays Act 2003, Wages protection Act, Parental Leave Act, Kiwisaver Act
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Health CAs and IEAs
  • 5+ years NZ Payroll or Human Resources experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a large complex payroll environment
  • Previous Holidays Act Remediation and Rectification experience with a sound understanding of the Holidays Act
  • Payroll experience in the health sector with a knowledge of the PSe payroll system
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt, working well in a team and on your own.
