ABOUT THE ROLE:

Compare the Market has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Home Loan Specialist to join our team and embark on a fulfilling journey assisting our valued customers in achieving their dream of home ownership. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in guiding customers through their home loan journey, ensuring their needs are met while upholding compliance and regulatory standards.
In this critical role, you will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver timely, effective, and accurate loan solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing personalised loan advice, processing loan applications, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of loan products and regulations, and ensuring a seamless and supportive customer experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Communicate effectively with customers to build rapport and trust throughout their home loan journey, from application to settlement and beyond.
  • Understand customer needs and objectives to recommend lender and product options that are suitable for their individual circumstances.
  • Ensure compliance with Best Interest Duty and Responsible Lending requirements throughout the home loan process.
  • Maintain accurate and truthful customer records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with Home Loan Consultants to resolve credit-related or customer-related queries, ensuring a smooth and timely experience.
  • Mentor Home Loan Consultants, identifying training needs and opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Assist with urgent requirements to ensure a peerless experience for customers.
