Salary: £45,000 p/a

Contracted Hours: Full Time
Shifts: Days
Setting: Care Home.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Manager to lead our residential care home operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

• Provide strong leadership to the care team, fostering a positive working environment and promoting professional development.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
• Manage the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff members.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with residents’ changing needs.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and the overall resident experience.
• Requirements:
• Registered Manager’s Award (Level 4 or above) or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the care sector, preferably within a residential care setting.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of residents.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demands.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
