Description:

Overview:
HORUS Technology Solutions is looking for an Honorarium Clerk to join our Grants Peer Review project team.
A top candidate would be very client focused. To be a strong team player you must be proactive in identifying issues and risks, and work with the client and the team to be a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide secure transmission and storage of any peer reviewer financial, biographical and/or personal identifiable information
  • Validate, through the COR or the ACOR, a list of all peer reviewers who have successfully completed the peer review process before issuing payment
  • Provide 1099-MISC information forms to peer reviewers, per the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) regulations, policies, and guidelines
  • Ensure the Agency meets all extramural honorarium payment requirements in a timely manner
  • Track and monitor honorarium payments to ensure payment is made to the reviewer and to eliminate the duplication of payments
  • Maintain confidentiality of all peer reviewer information and grant application information in accordance with current and pertinent Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Support likely to be provided remotely.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of administrative and financial payment support experience required, as well as experience with Microsoft Office
  • No grants-related experience required.
