We are looking for a passionate Contracts Specialist to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving.
Position Summary: The Contract Specialist will manage the physical and electronic storage of executed contracts, updating and maintaining the contract database. This position will assist in drafting, reviewing, and coordinating contracts for multiple entities throughout the company. The Contract Specialist will act as a liaison with hospice management and vendors, participating in the day-to-day management of activities related to contract review, approval, and processing.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years experience; preferably in a healthcare
  • Contract management experience with a customer service approach is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract terms and conditions is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and OneDrive.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Always demonstrates professionalism, protects privileged or protected information with confidentiality, and supports positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update contract database, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.
  • Support contract review and drafting under the supervision of the Contracts Manager.
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions comply with the company’s policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Develop contracts using approved model templates and create new contract model templates for approval.
  • Communicate with internal customers regarding contract status, information needed to complete drafting, and legal and compliance issues identified.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
