Hospice Social Work Clinical Manager

JSSA Hospice is looking for a Clinical Manager to oversee the Hospice Social Work Services program by joining our talented Hospice program team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited program
• Current LCSW-C license in the State of Maryland
• Maryland board-approved supervisor
• Advanced certification in hospice and palliative social work preferred
• Five years post-Master’s full-time experience in hospice or related social work settings with increasing clinical and supervisory responsibility
• Demonstrated customer service, organizational, and time management skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgement skills
• Highly technically proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Medical Records
• Able to work in fast paced environment

• Manage the hospice social work program staff
• Provide overall direction and leadership to the social work team
• Manage the caseload assignments
• Provide backup caseload support when needed
• Coordinate and provide clinical supervision in accordance with regulations and requirements of the Board of Social Work examiners and state regulations to designated clinicians who are working towards the LCSW-C licensure, and/or to MSW Interns.
• Work closely with the Hospice Leadership to support all areas of the program: admissions, transitions, discharges, and more.
• Ensure effective management of clinical, administrative and supervisory functions as related to personnel and hospice policies and procedures in order to meet JSSA’s mission of patient care.
