Description:
JOB INFORMATION
- Receive patients and their entourage and conduct interviews to understand their concerns and complaints effectively.
- Evaluate claims brought forward by patients or their representatives in a thorough and impartial manner.
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, and administrative staff to address patient concerns and ensure proper follow-up.
- Provide clear and concise responses to patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and understanding of the situation.
- Participate in the development of improvement plans in close collaboration with the quality unit to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
- Maintain records of complaints received and their resolutions to prepare an annual report and track trends for quality improvement purposes.
- Work with external organizations, such as regulatory bodies or patient advocacy groups, to address systemic issues and improve patient care.
- Ensure prevention by promoting communication between patients and healthcare providers, helping users co-construct solutions to their concerns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Solid experience in conflict resolution and mediation to effectively address patient complaints and grievances.
- Mastery of three national languages to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
- In-depth knowledge of health laws and regulations, including patients’ rights, to ensure compliance and fairness in handling complaints.
- Understanding of healthcare systems and processes to navigate patient complaints and advocate for necessary changes.
- Solution-oriented mindset to approach patient complaints with a focus on finding resolutions and improving overall patient satisfaction.
