We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitalist to join our medical staff as an independent contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community while enjoying the flexibility of an independent contractor arrangement.
Job Overview: As a Hospitalist at Palo Verde Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive inpatient care to our community members.
Key Responsibilities:
Inpatient Care:
Manage and coordinate the care of hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Quality of Care:
Uphold high standards of patient care and safety in accordance with hospital policies and best practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall healthcare services provided.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team.
Provide clear and concise documentation of patient care in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the medical staff, including specialists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Internal Medicine or related specialty.
Valid medical license in the state of California
Proven experience as a Hospitalist or in a similar inpatient care role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation: As an independent contractor, compensation will be negotiated based on agreed-upon terms
