Peer Group Hospitality, encompassing EARL Canteen, EARL Catering, Dame Melbourne and the newly opened Empire Coffee is seeking a Marketing Guru to drive our brands forward, enhance customer engagement and execute a communications strategy across our fast-casual cafe group.
This is a dynamic role, suited to someone with both hospitality and communications experience who, working with the directors and leadership team, can implement innovative marketing strategies across multiple channels to elevate brand awareness and reward our loyal customers.

Responsibilities in this role include;

  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, instore and across the digital presence; targeted advertising, social media, email, and promotional events.
  • Manage our cafe group’s social media presence across platforms; Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn, ensuring consistent messaging and fostering engagement with our loyal followers.
  • Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and refine our marketing approach.
  • Collaborate closely with our management team to devise pricing strategies and promotional offers that resonate with our target audience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, analysing key metrics to inform future strategies maximising ROI.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, community organisations, and potential partners to explore collaboration opportunities and cross-promotions.
  • Oversee our loyalty program, from customer signup to rewards fulfillment, enhancing customer retention and repeat business.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral, including in-store communications and digital assets, to support our promotional activities and reinforce our brand messaging.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to our external partners ensuring alignment with our brand objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven marketing experience within the hospitality or the F&B industry.
  • Strongly computer literate, especially with InDesign, Canva and Mac applications
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships and engaging diverse audiences.
  • Creative flair and a passion for innovation, with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms with a track record of managing successful campaigns.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for cafes, food culture and the Melbourne hospitality scene.
