Description:

ARE WE A GOOD MATCH?

Do you love being out in nature? Are you into mindfulness, mental fitness and meditation? Are you into design, brand experiences and storytelling? And most importantly, do you wear your heart in the right place?
If yes, then we are looking for you. Come and join us to create with us unforgettable Offgrid moments (and memories) out in nature.

ABOUT US!

Offgrid Mindful Cabins GmbH is an early-stage nature travel, hospitality, sustainable and design start-up. We are fuelled by passion for mindfulness, nature, storytelling, and unique design experiences. We design, manufacture and operate cabins (tiny houses) that promote mental wellness, mindfulness and unforgettable memories in the heart of nature. Our beautifully designed Offgrid cabins serve as gateways to happier, healthier lives.
To support our mission, we recently raised capital from angel investors who have extensive experience in our field of business and building unicorn ventures. We’re excited about the future and are looking for talented individuals who want to join us on this journey.

JOB INTRO:

Offgrid is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our unique and sustainable cabin retreats. As the Hospitality Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and service delivery.

SO HOW DOES ALL THAT SOUND?

So if you are equally passionate about design, storytelling, mindfulness, nature and the outdoors, sustainability and hospitality, and you have experiences in the world of start-ups, then we could be the right environment for you!
Join our passionate and ambitious team led by our founder Björn Welter, who has successfully built and shaped the brands of five unicorn companies, including HelloFresh, Pret A Manger, Grover, Quarters Co-Living, and Virgin Atlantic.
So come on board and help us touch the hearts and change the lives of the people around us!
PS:
We believe that job ads often depict an ideal candidate, but studies reveal that most folks only match around 60% of the criteria. That being said, if you don’t tick all the boxes in our job description, but feel you’ve got what it takes, we’d still love to hear from you. It’s all about finding out if we vibe together

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the daily operations of the cabin retreat, including but not limited to housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, and food and beverage services.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of all cabin facilities, amenities, and services, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance guest experience and streamline operations.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate guest feedback, reviews, and complaints to identify areas for improvement and take appropriate actions to address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to develop strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory management, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure the availability of necessary supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Coordinate with external service providers such as contractors, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and customer preferences to continuously innovate and improve our offerings.
