The Opportunity:
Hospitality Services Assistants are multi-skilled employees who provide excellent service across housekeeping, cleaning and food service to rooms and dining rooms at our residential aged care homes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and energetic individuals looking to make every moment matter by bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.

Currently there are a number of vacancies in Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Aged Care facilities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring our consumers are provided with meals and beverages of their choice
  • Ensuring all designated areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Communicating effectively to consumers and team members to ensure achievement of role is attained
  • Follow all safe work practices and food handling practices

About you?

  • Previous food handling and /or housekeeping experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively as an individual and within a team.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Willing to undertake pre employment checks including Functional assessment, reference checking and National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes
