ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operate the site’s catering outlets in the absence of the Catering & Hospitality Manager meeting all Sodexo and NBCU standards and compliances
- Monitor the set up and close down of each event/meeting to ensure NBCU is at all times maintained to the highest standard and is ready for upcoming events/meetings, including manage team members and agency staff
- Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety at all times, reporting immediately any incidents or accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate
- Assist in planning and co-ordinating the weekly booking of temporary staff, staff over-time required, ordering light equipment, alcohol and softs to maximise profitability and reduce wastage and undue costs
- Promote a harmonious working environment to deliver contract service level agreement in line with Sodexo core values
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage a team of full time and agency temporary staff and ensure full training and briefing is conducted, ensuring a smooth run of the service provided
- Ensure a great customer service is provided to our clients.
- Deliver Hospitality events & client meeting rooms requirements to Sodexo and NBCU agreed standards and any end client expectations
- Guide and assist the hospitality assistants, making sure the service is always delivered in time fashion
- Gather, type and check information to be displayed on menus with Head Chef, including allergens specifications
- Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the hospitality pantry
- Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if at all possible.
- Report immediately any incidents or accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate
- Train Hospitality Assistant members according to site procedures and Sodexo and Client rules
- Prepare weekly team rota, taking into consideration extra staff needed to cover busy days, events, staff holidays and sickness
- In conjunction with the Catering Manager conduct meetings calls with the client team to ensure exceptional event planning & operation
- Liaise with chefs to create bespoke catering packages according to client’s expectations
- Carry out Hospitality Assistants PDRs as per company procedures
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Fully deputise for the Catering & Hospitality Manager in their absence
