JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and build a strong relationship with hotels, represent, and promote Hotelbeds as a key partner.
  • Lead the contracting process with our Suppliers, focused on signing the most competitive rates for Hotelbeds.
  • Negotiate contract renewal conditions such as: rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation policy.
  • Monitor the Performance of each hotel working closely with the Yield Manager to ensure competitiveness and availability is not an issue.
  • Ensure the supplier has a clear understating of Hotelbeds value proposition and marketing tools to optimize their booking potential.
  • Expand hotel portfolio identifying new opportunities, analyzing hotel market in destination, leading the negotiation process for increasing booking volume in destination.
  • Follow up of sales performance analyzing weekly product/sales reports to identify market trends and revenue/room nights growth opportunities or incidences.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years working experience in Hospitality, Travel industry or any related fields.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects & tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills face to face, over email or phone.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations to various audiences.
  • Knowledge of Channel Managers and hotel distribution would be a plus.
  • Willing to travel frequently. (Within Australia)
  • Candidate home based required: Sydney, Australia
