PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job requires a combination of walking, bending and lifting. The House Mentor is frequently exposed to noise and a regular flow of people around the office or in the work location.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The House Mentor Role provides essential support to the House Leader. The Mentor will provide essential support and direction to the direct support workers as a role model and peer support. The Mentor will support onboarding new team members and will assist in developing the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General:

  • Maintain positive and effective communication.
  • Understand and conduct self, according to Simaril Inc. Policies and Procedures and legislative requirements.
  • Assist to guide staff and bring unresolved concerns to the attention of the House Leader
