BANYAN TREATMENT CENTERS IS RECRUITING A HOUSEKEEPER TO JOIN OUR DEDICATED TEAM IN MILFORD, DE!

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and comfort of patient rooms, managing laundry services, and maintaining the overall hygiene of the facility, contributing to a supportive healing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of housekeeping experience.

• Ensure the buildings provide a welcoming environment.
• Ensure day to day standards of cleanliness, tidiness and suitability for occupancy of all rooms.
• Reports any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices to management.
• Performs routine daily cleaning of assigned rooms; change bed linens; replaces towels; cleans bathrooms thoroughly; vacuums, mops and dusts daily; cleans kitchen areas.
• Maintains integrity when cleaning patient’s rooms.
• Ensures that all garbage from waste baskets and trash are removed and disposed of properly.
• Keep room supplied with paper towels, toilet paper and soap.
• Inspect all areas for maintenance issues and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Utilize custodial supplies according to safety protocols.
