To work to a cleaning schedule, completing all allocated cleaning taskse.g. damp dusting, high and low level surfaces, vacuuming, moppingand carpet cleaning in clinics, offices, toilets/bathrooms, kitchens,corridors and general rooms prioritising work load when necessary. To complete curtain changing when necessary. To complete cleanliness audit actions in a timely manner, ensure auditsare signed and filed in a logical order.
To assist with the removal of bodily fluids and clean-up process as andwhen required in accordance with Infection Prevention guidelines To maintain appropriate stock levels of cleaning materials. Ensuredeliveries of stores orders / laundry is correctly stored. To maintain water quality by flushing infrequently used outlets e.g.taps, showers and toilets and ensure appropriate documentation iscompleted. To remove general, recycled, and clinical waste and dispose of in theappropriate compound.
To report building / equipment faults repairs to clinical / departmentalleads, building custodians, or via Facilities Service Desk or linemanager. To maintain building security where necessary e.g. setting alarms. Therole may include being assigned as the allocated key holder.To adhere to the lone working policy where applicable.To sign in / out when entering the building (where applicabl
