Description:
Ward 30/32 has 41 inpatient beds and a 9 bedded assessment and short stay area. We have a busy clinical decisions area on the unit, where initial assessment of the child takes place. Ward 12 is the day case ward, it has 12 beds and a dedicated haematology area. We work within a friendly multi- disciplinary team from multiple specialities and disciplines such as surgery and medicine.
The environment includes a play area, sensory/physiotherapy room and school room. We also have an adolescent lounge which was designed by local young people. Please see the person specification and job description for further information about the role requirements
