Description:

Surgical High dependency are looking for a friendly, reliable, hardworking housekeeper to support patients and staff.
The role is vital to ensure the department is maintained in line with Trust standards, ensuring all infection control policies are adhered to, as well as stock rotation and management.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • The post holder will work as an integral part of the nursing team to co-ordinate non-clinical patient services / facilities in the ward area and ensure the ward is a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
  • To support nursing staff in upholding and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in ward food / beverage areas and at the patients’ bedside for the consumption of meals, snacks and drinks.
  • The post holder will work under the supervision and guidance of the ward manager / nurse in charge during the clinical shift
