Housekeeper

We require Housekeepers to join the team.

• This is a permanent role
• Full time, with minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
• Monday - Friday with weekend jobs available
• Competitive remuneration $28.18- $35.00 per hour depending on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be based in Auckland, but may also be required to work in Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago. This may require the need to travel away from home or relocate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Tasks includes but is not limited to:

• Clean rooms and public areas in accordance with rosters or daily objective in a timely manner
• Perform cleaning duties (including but not limited to sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, dusting, removing rubbish, vacuuming, stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen)
• Deep cleaning (including but not limited to steam cleaning carpets, and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture)
• Restocking minibars and replenishing items such as drinking glasses, writing equipment, linen and groceries
• maintaining kitchens, washing dishes and cooking utensils, and cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries and floors
• Picking up, sorting, washing, drying, ironing and mending linen and clothes
• Update assignment sheet
• Monitoring and adhering to hygiene regulations and standard operating procedures
