What will be your daily pursuit?:
Help support our Housekeeping team to ensure we create a restful and relaxing stay for our guests.
This role is part of our spring / summer seasonal hiring for the 2024 season.

What will you do in this job?:

  • Collaborate with the Jasper Lodging Housekeeping Team to order and restock department supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventories of Jasper Lodging housekeeping supplies /storage rooms to ensure proper storage and stock is being rotated
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of incoming/outgoing supplies.
  • Process all Housekeeping invoices through Centreviews software and ensure all supplies are received prior to paying invoices.
  • Process documentation for the housekeeping department including Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable (training in this will be provided)
  • Attend monthly Health and Safety Committee meetings (in person)
  • Help with daily housekeeping / laundry operation when needed
  • Opening or closing the housekeeping department operation that includes updating the Daily Room Count, making staffing adjustments were necessary, adhering to the labor model (training supplied)
  • Uniform tracking, ordering, inventory, issue full uniforms for new hires

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
