Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining sales ledger including raising sales invoices.
  • Liaising with the Housing Executive to ensure that all housing benefit information has been supplied by Tarasis Housing tenants.
  • Advising Tarasis Housing tenants of what housing benefit information is outstanding to resume their claim through phone, email & letter.
  • Setting up payment plans with Housing tenants to ensure that all rent is paid.
  • Updating our Housing computer system (Sage 200) to ensure that all accounts are up to date.
  • Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring clients pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans.
  • Advising tenants on arrears and payment plans.
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Housing Executive to ensure that tenant is adhering to tenancy agreement.
  • Inform Housing Executive & tenant of verbal and written warnings in relation to housing benefit and rent payments.
