Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Housing Manager oversees housing operations in high public housing concentration areas, focusing on access and tenancy management. This role involves leading a team to deliver housing programs locally, supporting clients at risk of homelessness.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll offer expert advice to staff and clients, provide coaching and support to direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and ensure a safe and productive environment. Your responsibilities include fostering beneficial relationships for Homes NSW clients both internally and externally.

This role is also responsible for delivering business outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards, duties include:

  • Monitoring of service standards and manage Key Performance Indicators
  • Provide expert and reliable, rapid advice on relevant operational policies to internal and external stakeholders
  • Compliance with legislation and policy requirements and to support team performance and reporting
  • Assistance with complex service issues and policy interpretation
