Description:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Successful experience in managing and supporting multi-functional software.
Experience in IT service desk environment supporting complex systems.
Management and coordination of stakeholders.
Experience in processing routine billing cycles of computer software.
Knowledge of relational database architecture and SQL.
Good organisational, time management, and communication skills.
Specialist knowledge of business functions associated with ICT systems used within social housing.
Awareness of information governance issues and legislation surrounding Housing and ICT.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, AGILE) or equivalent experience.
Formal qualification in an IT-related discipline (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESULT AREAS:

Ensure effective management and support of Housing software products.
Provide guidance and support for financial processes.
Ensure accurate systems budget management and financial setup.
Maintain software interfaces and batch processes.
Ensure effective security arrangements for systems.
Contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Liaise with suppliers and maintain positive working relationships.
Ensure compliance with change control processes.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-standard application support services across ICT systems used within the Housing Service.
Maintain data integrity and accuracy within ICT systems.
Administer system security and user access rights.
Monitor ICT systems performance and data interfaces.
Liaise with software suppliers and external contractors.
Support ICT projects related to the Housing Service.
Contribute to planning, designing, and delivering training to users.
Represent the Housing Service at IT user forums.
Design and develop system data reports using SQL and database reporting tools.
