Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

To provide a responsive, reliable, accurate, effective, friendly, and efficient administration service for all aspects of employee lifecycle activities across Impellam UK, while maintaining expected service levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being the first point of contact and answering any email/telephone queries received from our colleagues across our different brands
  • Processing letters for changes to employment terms and conditions
  • Producing and sending contracts of employment
  • Checking right to work documentation
  • Process leavers, including liaison with payroll and cancelling benefits
  • Responding to reference requests
  • Maintaining accurate employee information on our HR System
  • Dealing with Maternity/Paternity Leave, Flexible Working Requests and providing advice on Probations and AWOLs
  • Resolution of queries e.g. holidays, sickness absence, maternities, basic HR system queries etc
  • Responding to other HR queries as appropriate, referring to the HR team members for advice where necessary
  • Manage sickness absence in line with internal processes, liaising with businesses and Payroll as appropriate
  • Generation correspondence dealing with incoming and outgoing post

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Previous experience of working within an HR administration role
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Practical mindset when it comes to prioritising workload
  • GDPR compliant
  • Capable of working on own projects and taking responsibility for workload
  • CIPD qualified/part-qualified, desirable
