Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Assistant provides crucial administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth operations and accurate employee record-keeping. Acting as a primary contact for employees, they address inquiries and aid in HR-related matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience as an HR Assistant or in an administrative role is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration abilities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal details, attendance, and leave.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding by posting job listings, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate training programs, workshops, and employee development activities.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, claims processing, and addressing employee queries.
  • Aid in payroll administration, including timesheet verification and deduction processing.
  • Assist in employee relations tasks, such as drafting HR communications and organizing events.
  • Handle general HR inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Uphold confidentiality of sensitive employee information with professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
