Here at ABP Langport, located in Southwest Somerset (TA10 9HG), we are currently recruiting for the ideal candidate to join our Human Resources Team as a HR Administrator.

Responsibilities:

ROLE DEFINITION:

  • Reporting to the site HR Manager, the HR Administrator is responsible for general administration within the department and for maintaining HR systems in line with company procedures and legislation, as well as supporting with internal communication across the site.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General administration duties to maintain the company’s paperless approach to working.
  • Ensuring that Employee e-files and Personal data are compliant with company procedures and legislation.
  • To maintain in house databases with the latest employee information.
  • Other administration tasks as and when required, including, but not exclusively, letters and minute recording.
  • To support the HR team with HR initiatives on site, such as Appraisals and Employee Engagement Surveys.
  • To support Departmental Heads with employee relations issue in line with company procedures, such as investigations and minor performance or conduct disciplinary meetings.
  • To take ownership of internal communications on site including issuing the ABP UK Weekly News and keeping notices up to date.
  • To take ownership of the monthly Employee Voice Meeting, monitoring the completion of actions and issuing of minutes.
  • To support with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events and social/charity events on site.
  • Support with the recruitment, induction and on-boarding process where required.
  • Reward and recognition initiatives on site, including Employee of the Month (ABP Spotlight Awards), Loyalty Scheme, and supporting with the Annual Awards event.
  • Any other reasonable task requested by the HRM.
  • To take responsibility of own Continuous Professional Development.
