Description:

Purpose of the Role
The role is focused on supporting the business completing administrative HR tasks and analysing people data to provide insights and identify areas of opportunity. Working across Operational HR and Learning and Development to produce reports and analyse key data points measuring core people metrics. In addition, the role will undertake day-to-day administrative HR activities.

Key Skills Required

  • Good knowledge of excel, pivot tables, data analysis, using formulars and presenting data though graphs and charts.
  • Good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint programmes is required. The ability to mail merge and link/update data across different file sources would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data in simple forms.
  • Must be comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information and have a good awareness of Data protection (GDPR) rules.
  • A knowledge of the hospitality business and understanding of basic people processes would be advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities:

This role will provide administrative support to the HR team producing employee documents, updating data systems, and supporting the administration of people processes throughout the year.
Working with the Head of People the HR Administrator and Data analysis will develop a monthly reporting mechanisms to collate and track key people metrics for the business. Building data into easy-to-understand reporting tools to be share with Operators and business leadership.

HR Administration

  • Maintaining employee data in Forth Hospitality, monitor the integrity and management of the people data and support/advise managers on correct record keeping and reporting.
  • Booking travel arrangements for field-based Area Training Mangers as required.
  • Approving Head Office Holiday requests.
  • General ad-hoc people Administration, producing employee letters and supporting HR programmes and initiatives as required.
  • Responding to employee and manager queries in a timely manner.

Data analysis and reporting

  • Managing accurate and timely people reports to provide monthly KPI dashboard for People team. Compiling People Metrics dashboards for monthly Ops Exec Meeting, producing People KPIs for turnover, retention, diversity, engagement, and other key focus areas.
  • To run weekly/monthly reports from HR Systems; Forth (employee HR & payroll platform), CPL (Learning management system), Harri (applicant tracking platform), Legends Reward Gateway (discounts, rewards, and recognition platform) and Moorepay ER data reports. Present data in a clear, concise manner.
  • Identifying areas of risk and opportunity based on data analysis. Identify ways to improve processes and support implementation of change programmes
  • Support managers and members of staff regarding general HR queries, company procedures and policies.
  • Provide accurate data and reports to other departments as requested.
