In this role, you will provide exceptional HR and administrative support to the Director of HR and the HR team. If you possess excellent communication skills, are able to work well under pressure, and have a knack for multitasking, then this opportunity is perfect for you!

  • Comfortable working with numbers and computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the new joiner process by preparing offer letters, requesting references, and coordinating pre-employment screenings.
  • Organise and maintain electronic HR files for all new employees, ensuring that all required documentation is included.
  • Prepare salary increase and bonus award letters annually.
  • Assist with benefit scheme renewals, including distributing policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, whether in person, by phone, or via email.
  • Respond promptly to speculative job inquiries and reference requests.
  • Maintain accurate electronic HR records for current employees, former employees, and pensioners.
  • Collaborate with pension administrators to ensure accurate membership records and provide support for pension queries.
  • Act as Secretary to the Information and Consultation Committee, including preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Conduct eligibility audits and report findings to the pub and Operations Manager.
  • Provide reference letters for current and former employees.
  • Support head office and retail managers with ad hoc employment inquiries.
  • Assist with various clerical and administrative duties.
