Description:
The ideal HR Administrator will have a solid understanding of generalist HR functions, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach. They should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent service to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR function, including scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and HR events.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and processed.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data integrity across HR systems.
- Manage and maintain the company’s leave management tool, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of employee leave. Update the tool with any changes to leave policies or employee information.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics.
- Provide support to employees on HR-related topics such as annual leave, compensation, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Process all personnel documentation, ensuring accurate capture of employee movements and compliance with company procedures.
- Produce employee contracts, reference letters, and other supporting documentation.
- Issue contracts of employment to successful candidates and schedule inductions.
- Liaise and collaborate with the HR team to contribute to the department’s operational efficiency. Suggest HR processes and policies that optimize efficient service delivery to employees and department managers.
- Code invoices to appropriate cost centres in line with internal budgeting procedures.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as an HR administrator in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong data entry and records management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
