Description:

We are supporting a company based in Basildon in recruiting an experienced, full-time HR Administrator on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, with an hours lunch break and the salary is £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience. You must have previous HR administration experience and ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this. This is an office-based role, with free parking on site.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with interview scheduling and administration for recruitment
  • Manage the on-boarding administration of all new starters and leavers (e.g., preparing offer of employment letters, contract of employment etc)
  • Carry out accurate and diligent right to work checks and analyse criminal records checks (DBS) for new employee screening to ensure these abide with legislation
  • Request and set up HR and IT accounts for employees
  • Manage the administration of all employee records and HR systems and databases
  • Produce HR and Staffing reports as requested

You must be approachable and positive at all times with the natural ability to build relationships, problem solve and must be able to deal with all HR matters with complete discretion.
