Description:

Are you someone who enjoys working with people and excels in a fast-paced HR environment? If so, Ryman has an exciting opportunity for you to join our people team as an HR Administrator. In this role, you will be the primary contact for all our colleagues and provide support with queries from all departments.

WHO WE ARE:

Henry J Ryman, founder of Ryman, opened his first store in London at Great Portland Street in 1893, and there is still a store there today. Ryman is part of Theo Paphitis Retail Group, which comprises Ryman, Robert Dyas, Boux Avenue and the London Graphic Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all new colleague’s starter processes, all documentation, right to work in the UK, and the probations.
  • Leaver processes, collating all documentation and exit interviews providing reports
  • Load, update and maintain colleague records on our HR system - Fourth
  • Prepare and amend colleague contracts utilising HR systems & Adobe Autosign
  • Manage and maintain the HR Inbox, assigning to appropriate colleague
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners with various reports on colleague data
  • Managing reference requests
  • Administrating store till cards / Colleague discount cards / VIP cards
  • Ensuring compliance of GDPR Right to Work in the UK legislation is adhered to
  • Provide general administrative support such as filing, telephone calls, scanning and emails
  • Support with ad-hoc projects as and when required
  • Respond to general HR queries, directing to relevant policies and procedures where appropriate
  • Escalate issues/concerns to HR Business Partners
