Description:
Our Stantec HR UK&I team are a passionate team of HR professionals supporting a UK&I region of talented engineers, scientist and functional support staff. We now have an excellent opportunity for a passionate HR Representative / Administrator to join our team.
This role sits alongside other HR team members in our office in central Edinburgh, located a short walk from Haymarket Station. The role supports a larger HR team based in Stantec offices throughout the UK. We offer a hybrid working model to give you a good blend of office and home working.
Your role will be to create, maintain and provide information relating to employee data, contracts and employment related records and to ensure that the administrative processes related to the payroll and employee lifecycle are adhered to. You will process HR administration in line with agreed deadlines, liaising with managers, employees and the wider HR team as well as being the first port of call for the HR helpdesk.
On a daily basis, you will input data into multiple HR Information systems, spreadsheets and reports. You will complete template documents, amending contracts, creating, and issuing appropriate correspondence. You will help coordinate the monthly HR calendar to anticipate work volumes and organise tasks accordingly and in partnership with the other team members.
An important part of your role will be liaising with HR Colleagues and other departments in the UK and around the globe on matters relating to New Hire set-up, HR Data, approvals, validation, and compliance while continuously looking for improved ways of working and offering insight and feedback to the wider team.
