REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years HR or People & Culture administration assistant working experience
- Education industry experience preferred
- Hold a valid WWCC OR able to purchase WWCC ($80.00)
- Available to commence within 1-2 weeks notice
Responsibilities:
ROLE
Seeking a dedicated and talented People and Culture Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our school’s culture, supporting our staff, and nurturing a positive working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- HR Administration
- Managing the P&C email inbox.
- Support probation, exit and onboarding processes.
- Dissemination and collation of information from the induction and new joiner feedback surveys.
- Support School Wellbeing programs and resources.
- Support and coordinate annual health initiatives (e.g. Flu Shots and Health Checks).Prepare the monthly “Staff Movements” email and manage related staff data register.
- Compliance
- Data entry of People and Culture information into the Payroll system e.g. Passport & Visa information, WWCC’s, NESA accreditation and qualifications.
- Processing Parental and Long Service leave approval requests.
- Spreadsheet maintenance.
- Preparation of expense forms and purchase orders.
- Manage relevant employment checks (e.g. right to work, WWCCs etc).Coordinate training requirements (e.g. First Aid, CPR, WHS, etc.)
- Recruitment & Selection
- Coordination and management of all new starter employment paperwork.
- Manage the online onboarding system – PeopleStreme.
- Preparation of job advertisements and online postingInterview scheduling and reference checking. Preparation of employment contracts and all relevant documents relating to an offer of employment.
