What’s the job?
Reporting to the Senior HR Officer, the HR Administrator ensures the timely and accurate provision of HR administration throughout the employment life cycle. This role provides ongoing support to the business through being the first point of contact for all tier one HR enquires through the maintenance of staff records and required HR documentation required for audit and compliance purposes, undertakes related business reporting, data entry, and ongoing HR process improvements and systems currency.

On a typical day in this role you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the central HR inbox, being first point of contact for tier one HR related queries, and escalating enquires to the relevant HR or business functions.
  • Supporting managers with employee lifecycle administration, including new employee on boarding, change of status, and off boarding documentation
  • Liaising and providing relevant information to payroll for new starters, change of status and off boarding within the payroll timeframes.
  • Updating the HRIS with all relevant employee lifecycle staff information and update employee file.
  • Following up with managers on a monthly basis to action or close out any significant dates within their team
  • General HR and administrative duties as requested from time to time.

This is a permanent full-time role can be based in Sydney (Surry Hills) . The team works on a hybrid model (mix of work from home and on campus).
Who you are

This is an entry-level role that is perfect for someone who is looking for a first role in HR. You may have done an internship in HR or recently graduated from a Human Resources degree. We’d love you to :

  • Have impeccable attention to detail
  • Be highly organised, excellent time management and the ability to multi task.
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships
  • Be comfortable doing repetitive administrative tasks.
  • Preferably undertaking or have obtained a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related qualification
  • Be willing to learn and have a can-do attitude
  • Immediate start preferred at our Surry Hills Campus
