YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the New Bundaberg Hospital project team. This role will be reporting to the HR Manager and will be based on site in Bundaberg.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing generalist HR/IR support to the project team.
  • Advice, coaching and support to managers to facilitate contemporary HR/IR practices.
  • Initiating and driving HR initiatives and supporting client groups through periods of organisational change.
  • Provide support and advice to leaders to ensure participation in performance management initiatives.
  • Management of project-based initiatives to attract, retain and grow our talented team.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Tertiary HR qualification or similar discipline.
  • Relevant Legislation knowledge and experience interpreting employment contracts, awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Proven negotiation skills and be solutions orientated
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in managing employee grievances and workplace investigations.
