Description:

We’re on the hunt for a talented HR Advisor to become a valued member of our team at the bustling hub of Cardiff Bay headquarters. This role offers a hybrid work model, with a requirement for 50% of your week to be spent in the office.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • You should be qualified to at least a Level 5 CIPD qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing a wide variety of HR-related matters. (If you have proven demonstrable experience and are currently working towards CIPD qualification, we are happy with that if you are the right person for the role)
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy is a must.
  • Excellent written skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Focused on achieving results and working toward continuous improvements.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, and confidence to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient with the full Microsoft suite, experienced using HR information systems (HRIS), and technically savvy in using other computer applications.
  • The desire to focus on your personal and professional development is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Collaborate with managers to develop and implement effective performance management strategies, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Support HR people with insights and reporting, analysing trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Play an active role in HR projects and initiatives; such as employee engagement, well-being diversity and inclusion, and organisational capability & development.
  • Actively monitor, and together with the relevant manager, manage all absence casesBuild and maintain strong productive relationships with managers and employees and attend appropriate meetings as required.
