YOUR KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are ideally seeking candidates with the following:

  • Ability to multi-task and manage high volume workloads
  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Human resources experience in a mining or heavy industry environment, desirable
  • Strong computer skills including an advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office package

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resource Advisor to join us on our Curragh North project in Blackwater. This will be a key role at site that will partner with our stakeholders and managers and provide support to the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

The primary functions of this role will see you:

  • This role is suited to someone who enjoys a varied workday, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a rewarding and engaging role within a supportive team.
  • Work autonomously on site, as the day to day point of contact for all HR related queries and matters
  • Lead complex investigations, and support with Enterprise Agreement Negotiations
  • Provide advice, training, coaching and support to site operational teams in relation to the entire employee lifecycle including remuneration, employee engagement, policies, procedures, learning and development, employee relations and performance management.
  • Provide expertise regarding conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, disputes and investigations
  • Support the wider Queensland HR team in the delivery of all aspects of HR and IR activities for the Project
  • Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective people strategies and initiatives
  • Support and collaborate community, diversity and inclusion initiatives for the Project
  • Work closely with and provide support to the Human Resources Manager
  • Promote a values-based approach to HR at the Project.
