LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR SKILLS/EXPERTISE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a similar HR advisory role, preferably within the technology or software industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian compliance & employment law/requirements
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BambooHR is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, display exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and navigate in a rapidly changing environment, with a bias towards action.
  • Great initiative & a strong willingness to continuously learn
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to be a dedicated team player

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and timely HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR issues including, but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director, HR to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with local regulations and business objectives.
  • Partner with managers to cultivate a high-performing workforce through coaching, performance improvement plans, and when necessary, disciplinary actions..
  • Manage employee relations through conflict resolution, grievance handling, and conducting investigations as required.
  • Support cyclical processes such as annual performance reviews and compensation reviews by assisting with preparation, coordination, and data analysis.
  • Take responsibility for HR operations and administration specific to the ANZ region, including maintainingaccurate HR records, managing employee data in HRIS systems, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate processing of employee data and timely payroll administration for Australian employees.
  • Assist Managers in the development of position descriptions ensuring they are relevant to the classification and reflect the actual role being undertaken
  • Stay informed about changes to employment legislation and HR best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending appropriate actions as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive organisational culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
