    Fisher & Paykel Healthcare are a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of a range of innovative healthcare solutions, used in hospitals and at home, which improve patient care and outcomes, and make a difference to people’s lives. F&P Healthcare have been a household name since 1969.
    Following business growth, we are looking for an additional HR Advisor to support our growing NZ Manufacturing Operations team. They are a large (approx. 2000+ people) and busy portfolio who are critical to the achievement of our business success. There is plenty to get your teeth into and an opportunity to really broaden your HR experience!
    You will join a team of 5 x HR Advisors, 1 x HRBP, 2 x Senior HRBPs, and an HR Manager who support our people leaders and team members across all people related processes and initiatives, including engagement, employment relations, building capability, and continuous improvement projects. We are also part of a larger 65+ HR team comprising of both generalists and specialists – a fantastic learning ground for people who have some HR experience under their belt.

You will be supporting across our full portfolio and everyday will be different. Key activities include:

  • first point of contact for Employee and Manager questions;
  • working closely with our HR Shared Services team to produce and/or review employment documentation and maintain data in our HR System;
  • working closely with our experienced HR Advisors and Business Partners to build your employment relations experience and exposure to unions; and
  • supporting the continuous improvement of our processes.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in an HR generalist role, ideally in a large and/or unionized environment.
  • Sound HR knowledge (potentially obtained during tertiary studies), together with good business and commercial awareness. You will be supporting the full employee lifecycle.
  • Some employment relations (ER) experience; you must have experience shadowing or assisting on cases end to end.
  • Customer and stakeholder focus, strong problem-solving skills and the desire to improve and streamline the delivery of HR services.
  • Experience working with a HRIS (we use SAPSuccessFactors) and ability to analyse data to provide valuable insights to the business (we utilise PowerBI).
  • The ability to form trusted relationships which enable you to partner successfully and influence our employees, leaders and your colleagues.
  • Resilience and the ability to think and act at pace.
