Position: HR Advisor
Location: Dubai, UAE- Monday to Friday in our Dubai office
This is a Freelance opportunity for 1 month initially. You must hold a Freelance visa and have the right to work in Dubai on a Freelance basis.
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting into our Head of People we are looking for a HR advisor to partner with the business across HR and People focussed strategies.
An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You’ll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.
Our HR Advisor position requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are passionate about Recruitment, HR policies and procedures and want to help create a nourishing workplace, this position is for you.
Ultimately, you will elevate your HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions across MENA.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally of circa 5 years proven work experience in HR
- Previous experience leading on HR and People focussed strategies
- Degree/diploma in Human Resources or relevant field
- Hand on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
- Working knowledge of Google Suite
- Excellent computer literacy and experience with Google docs, sheets, slides and forms
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and visa processes
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent Teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Support Head of People with HR tasks
- Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
- Drive employee engagement initiatives
- Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leave)
- Assist People Officer with leave recons
- Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
- Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
- Lead on HR projects, meetings and training sessions
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to ensure hiring plan delivery
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
- Assist in onboarding and inductions for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies
